½ Hour CanSkate Program: designed for skaters with little skating experience and are under 5 years of age. This program is a learn–through-playing program. Teaching aids and toys will be available to make the skater’s first skating experience really fun!

CanSkate Program: designed for skaters who can stand up on their own and are over the age of 5. This program will include skill development games, action songs, and skills circuits…. focusing on FUN!

STARSkate; The STARSkate program develops fundamental figure skating skills in the areas of ice dance, skating skills, free skate and interpretive skating. This hour program offers smaller class sizes and targeted skill development.

PowerSkate - is an action-packed, high energy instructional power skating program geared to hockey and ringette skaters that focuses on balance, power, agility, speed and endurance. Skills, techniques and conditioning drills are taught in a progressive format that emphasizes how the skills apply to game situations; including drills with hockey sticks and pucks. CanPowerSkate is geared to skaters aged approximately six or older who already have basic forward and backward skating skills.

Refund Policy:
All lesson fees are non-refundable with the following exceptions:
Medical reason
Skater wishes to formally withdraw from the program. Formal withdrawal consists of notifying the Club Administrators (Shauna Young, Diane Klemp or Melissa Saal) by submitting a written request for refund. Refunds request must be received within four weeks of the start date of lessons.
Clothing / Equipment
All skaters must wear helmets. Hockey helmets are preferred rather than cycling helmets.
Dress in warm but not bulky clothing. (Layers are recommended)
Mitts or gloves must be worn
Hockey or figure skates may be worn.
