Recreation & Culture

Recreation & Culture in Pense is taking a more flexible, informal approach — making it easier for residents to get involved without long-term commitments or monthly meetings.

Want to Get Involved?

There are lots of ways to participate:

Help with a Community Favourite

Volunteer to help coordinate activities such as the Sparkle Tour, Halloween Pumpkin Carving, Easter activities, and other community events.

Share Your Passion

Have a hobby, skill, or interest you’d love to share? Become a Passionate Hobbyist and host a one-time activity or workshop. Crafting, baking, gardening, photography, woodworking, games, movies — whatever you enjoy!

The Town can help promote your activity and, when applicable, provide free hall rental for eligible Recreation & Culture events.

Have an Event Idea?

If you have an idea for an activity, simply:

1. Complete the Event Request Form
Download the form and provide your event details.

2. Submit Your Form
Email your completed form to recboard@pense.ca and wait for approval.

3. Host Your Event!
Once approved, get the word out, bring your idea to life, and have fun with your neighbours.

Eligible activities may also qualify for SaskLotteries funding to help cover approved expenses.
